At the close of September as National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month, Request for Proposals are open to provide additional funding through 2014 for organizations serving residents in the Parramore and Holden Heights communities.
Funding will be granted to designated non-profit organizations serving the Parramore and Holden Heights communities and addressing the Calls to Action developed by the Building a Healthy Parramore Coalition in 2010.
Awards range from 2,500.00 to 10,000.00. Proof of IRS 501 © 3 designation is required. Organizations and agencies without this designation are encouraged to partner with non-profit entities to serve the community. Technical assistance is available for organizations or representatives needing clarification or help with the computer application process. Application deadline is October 18, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.
