Mo’mo-Browne

Mo'mo and I became acquainted at Orlando Brewing, the establishment at which she bar tends, where I had a weekly gig on Monday nights. I played a slew of blues tunes during my sets in memory of the late Lee Swimmer, one of which Mo'mo would request every time she tended those nights. One night she told me 'I wanna sing that song with you'. It was at that moment I realized this girl wanted to sing, I mean I didn't really even realize that she sang, and with me of all people. Well it wasn't just me, the Browne, it was the Blues! I was flattered nonetheless, and after wading in the waters of the brilliant blues Swimmer we were ready to dive deep into Browne territory.
Since we began collaborating I've introduced Mo'mo to more of my folkier songs, or my Beatles rip-offs, and one at a time the shoo-in blues she desired. I did this to broaden our repertoire. I also thought I would keep her interest peaked with a steady flow of blues from Browne, rather than cleaning out my reserve all at once. Both of us were blessed with close mentors and inspirers throughout our upcoming in musicianship, some of there early works have been revamped under the super-vision of Mo'mo-Browne.
