Zendaya will be taking on the powerful role as Spider Man’s long time love interest as Mary Jane Watson. This makes her the first African American to star as Mary in the history of every Spider-Man movie, show and book. Mary Jane is literally the most important Spider Man Character besides Peter Parker himself. This is a major move when it comes to having more diversity in not only in the Marvel category, but in films in general. You go Zendaya!
