You’ll hear from a doctor breaking down GLP-1 weight loss medications, an exercise trainer with realistic routines, a nutritionist with food swap tips and a psychologist to address stress eating and strengthen your mindset and motivation.
You don’t need to be perfect. You just need a plan and we got YOU!

MEET THE PANELISTS
Dr. Angeles Otero grew up in New York and graduated NYU School of Medicine in 1996. She fulfilled her long time dream of moving to Florida in 2006. Dr Otero practiced pediatrics from 1999 until 2024 and grew the practice from a solo employee to a staff of 25.
Although not her original field of specialty, she developed a passion for aesthetics in 2022. What she loves most about this field is the flexibility of taking her time to meet each patient’s individual needs. Also seeing the joy that is brought to people by helping them achieve the best version of themselves brings warmth to her heart, whether it’s addressing healthy weight loss, anti-aging, or skin health. Having struggled all her life with weight challenges, this is a particular area of focus and fulfillment. She is constantly working on her growth whether it is her aesthetic craft, her personal weight loss journey or spiritual goals.
Having served as a women’s ministry leader at a local church from 2012-2023, she also has a heart for people and enjoys hearing their life stories/journeys. She volunteers her time leading individual and group Bible studies and speaking at women’s events. Angeles loves to travel with her family and friends and is an avid skier. In her free time she enjoys dancing (particularly salsa dancing), watching movies and anime with her husband and daughter and snuggling with her golden retriever.
Dr. Janie Lacy is a Licensed Psychotherapist, National Certified Counselor, and CEO of Life Counseling Solutions in Orlando, Florida. Known as the expert therapist on TLC’s “The Last Resort” and a trusted voice on CNN, Court TV, and Good Morning America, Dr. Lacy brings warmth, wisdom, and real-world insight to conversations about transformation and healing. With nearly two decades of clinical experience, she specializes in helping individuals break free from patterns that keep them stuck—whether in relationships, self-image, or the complex emotional journey of weight loss.
Tara Collingwood is a nationally recognized expert and spokesperson on nutrition, fitness, and health promotion. Tara has coached CEO’s, gold medal Olympians, professional athletes, as well as everyday people. Tara was the co-host of Emotional Mojo, a national television show where she was the resident nutrition and health expert from 2013-2015. She is a past National Media Spokesperson for the professional organization of 80,000 Registered Dietitians, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Tara appeared regularly as the “Diet Diva” on the national morning television show, The Daily Buzz for 10 years until the show ended in 2015. Tara is the author of Pregnancy Cooking & Nutrition for Dummies (2012) and co-author of Flat Belly Cookbook for Dummies (2014) and All In One Pregnancy (2016).
Melanie Sinclair, personal trainer and Founder/CEO of MS Fitness Studio, is a dynamic and highly-skilled personal trainer who specializes in functional fitness, mobility and injury prevention. With a background as an elite gymnast and former Cirque du Soleil performer, she designs personalized training programs that prioritize long-term health and sustainable results.A lifelong athlete and NASM-certified expert, Melanie holds credentials as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). Her philosophy, “Pain-Free, Personalized Fitness for Every Body”, focuses on building strength, improving movement, and fostering a lifestyle of balance and vitality.
