Denise Katrina Mathews aka Vanity of the 80's girl group Vanity 6 has died after years of battling kidney failure also an abdominal illness. She passed away Monday in a Fremont, CA. Vanity 6 toured with Prince during his 1999 tour, but quit right after that.
She left Hollywood, quit drugs and became a born-again Christian in the mid 90's. She remained active in her church up until her death. She was in church Saturday evening and told the congregation she was "ready to go home." Vanity was 57.
