Keyshia Cole is beside herself with joy ever since finding her biological father. After a lifelong search, she was understandably overcome with emotion when she learned that boxer-trainer Virgil Hunter is her dad.
Keyshia's fans and supporters proceeded to congratulate both her and her fater and wished them well. However, talk show host Maury Povich used Keyshia's finding her dad a way to promote his daytime talkshow.
"Keyshia Cole....you should have called MAURY years ago and we would have helped you find your father! Don't wait 34 years like Keshia, call 1-888-45MAURY for your free DNA test." The shameless plug was posted on Povich's Facebook page.
After several people called Maury petty and childish for inserting himself into the conversation, whoever runs the host's social media page issued a, "We're so happy for you, sorry it took 34 years."
