ABC/Heidi GutmanTracee Ellis Ross, Sanaa Lathan, Regina King, and Alfre Woodard will join together for a special episode of the hit television series Golden Girls
On Monday, the actresses shared photos of themselves reimagined as Rose Nylund, Blanche Devereaux, and Dorothy Zbornak, with Alfre as Sophia Petrillo — from the series that aired on NBC from 1985-1992.
The virtual remake of the show will be directed by Love & Basketball's Gina Prince-Bythewood and hosted by Lena Waithe, in partnership with Zoom.
The evening was planned "in an effort to further engage our community and drive change," according to the events page. "This event is in partnership with Zoom, and the first episode is spotlighting and supporting Color of Change — the nation's largest online racial justice organization."
Fans can register to join the virtual watch party on the "Zoom Where it Happens" page, airing Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET. Will you be tuning in?
