BMF, the Starz series about Demetrius "Meech" FlenoryTerry "Southwest T" Flenory and their Black Mafia Family drug organization, has been renewed for a season 3 just weeks into their second season.

The network announced the news in a press release shared Wednesday.

"BMF captures the essence of Detroit through elevated, gritty storytelling and our fans have passionately responded to this show more than ever before," said Kathryn Busby, Starz's president of original programming. "Following such a strong debut with season two, we're thrilled to continue to expand on the incredible story of the Flenory brothers as they change the game by writing their own rules. We can't wait to see what our extraordinary producers and cast deliver next."

Season 2 of BMF premiered January 6 and brought a total of 4.1 million viewers its opening weekend, according to Starz. 50 Cent executive produces the show, which he says will have spinoffs, much like his previous series Power.

"BMF is on fire season 3 here we go," he captioned a screenshot of headlines on the announcement. "Spin offs on the way BMF IMMORTALS 1,2,and 3. Boom."
