Drake shows love for the return of Adele: "One of my best friends in the world just dropped a single"

One of the biggest music stories of the year is the return of Adele after a six-year hiatus with her single, "Easy On Me."  And one of her biggest fans, Drake, is delighted.

"One of my best friends in the world just dropped a single," the "Way 2 Sexy" rapper commented on his Instagram Story with a photo of Adele and a smiley emoji. Drake tagged the 15-time Grammy winner and added, "WOIIIIIII."

When Drizzy celebrated his 33rd birthday in Los Angeles in October 2019, the British superstar attended his party. She posted a photo of her from the bash on Instagram and commented, "Happy birthday to one of the kindest and funniest people I've met @champagnepapi."

During an Instagram Live session over the past weekend, Adele told her fans that Drake's Certified Lover Boy is her favorite album of 2021
