Morgan McCane is a 15 year-old teenager who's taking a stand and tired of the trend of sagging pants with 'Girls Against Sagging'.
"I feel that women are the biggest influence on our young boys. If women could get voting rights, why can't they help make boys pull up their pants? Seeing a bunch of boys at school and in public, I was just so disgusted that I wished someone or something would make them change," Morgan said.
Then her mother suggested that she start a movement and do something about it, which inspired Morgan to create the 'Girls Against Sagging' or GABS movement, along with her sister.
"The movement is target more to women and girls rather than men and boys," Morgan stated. "I feel that women can change men's minds most."
Her goal is to get girls to wear the T-shirts to let boys know they do not approve of their fashion choice.
Her father Howard McCane, said he supports the message his daughter is trying to spread. "If you go ahead and start making some good choices on how you carry yourself," he said. "Then maybe as you go forward you won't project such a negative connotation to people. I'm really so pleased to have a daughter who really wants to step up and make some type of movement and try to change something."
So are we Mr. McCane, so are we.
