In a statement obtained by The Sunday Times, officials said Camilla tested positive “after suffering the symptoms of a cold.”

“With regret, she has therefore cancelled all her public engagements for this week and sends her sincere apologies to those who had been due to attend them,” the statement read.

The queen consort, 75, is fully vaccinated, according to The Telegraph. The newspaper reported that she was in good spirits and resting following her diagnosis.

The incident marked the second time that Camilla has had COVID-19 after she was earlier diagnosed with the viral infection in February 2022. Her husband, King Charles III, has also tested positive twice for COVID-19: Once in March 2020 and once in February 2022.
