The classic 70's Blaxploitation film 'Super Fly' is scheduled to hit the Broadway stage as 'Super Fly the Musical" late this year. The show will be produced by Tommy Motolla with choreography from Bill T. Jones who choreographed the Off- Broadway musical Fela!. Just like the original, the musical will feature songs from the movie by Curtis Mayfield as well as other 70's era music. There is no word yet on who will play the lead roll Priest aka Super Fly.
