In Latto's new song "Put It On Da Floor Again," Cardi B raps, "I been ballin' so damn hard, could've went to LSU." It seems the college got wind of the lyric, as they've responded with a tweet that seemingly extends an offer to the rapper.
"ok @iamcardib we're ready for you," LSU's women's basketball team wrote alongside a photo of Cardi in their Tigers jersey. The photo included the aforementioned lyric, while the video for the actual track features a cameo from LSU basketball star Angel Reese.
Cardi’s mainstream status is what she’s worked hard for, but she admits that “sometimes having everything GETS BORING.”
When responding to a fan who questioned why she's "posing with guns" in the video and trying to relive her days in the hood, Cardi responded, "I was tearing the other day Cause I miss my old life…"
“But I won’t complain it’s not about me anymore,” she continued. “This is part of growing up and bout my kids…but yea PUT IT ON THE FLOOR!!!”
