CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A man reportedly unhappy with his order at a Pennsylvania fast-food restaurant lashed out on Monday, “picking a fight” with a sign in the drive-thru lane, authorities said.

According to a news release from the Carlisle Police Department, officers responded at about 2 a.m. ET on March 26 to a Wendy’s restaurant.

Police said an unidentified man arrived with a woman in the drive-thru lane. The man was a passenger in the vehicle and there was apparently an issue with the food order, WHP reported.

“Wendy’s management reported that an individual decided to fight the drive-thru sign, causing substantial damage to it,” police said.

The couple then drove away, police said.

Authorities are trying to learn the identity of the couple. An investigation is ongoing.
