Recall alert: 740K sauté pans recalled due to impact, burn hazards

Sauté pans
Recall alert The CPSC announced the recall of 740,000 Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue Sauté Pans. (CPSC)

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of about 740,000 sauté pans because they can pose an impact and burn hazard.

The agency said that the metal cap on the screw connecting the handle to the pan on the Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue Sauté Pans can come off and “forcefully eject” when heated.

There have been at least 98 incidents of the cap coming off and being ejected, with one consumer saying they were bruised and burned.

They were sold in a two-piece set with a 10-inch pan and an 11.5-inch pan. They had UPC number 0-80313-08131-6 and were online at Costco, Walmart and Amazon websites and in Costco locations from August 2021 to February 2026 for about $40.

If you have the recalled pans, you should not use them and contact E Mishan for a refund. You’ll be asked to return the pans.
